There are many media institutions I think will distribute my music magazine such as Bauer Media, InterMedia Partners and IPC Media. I would think these companies would distribute my magazine as they own other popular music magazines but none of my genre therefore creating a place in the market for my magazine and therefore it would be worthwhile for them to invest and distribute my magazine. The closet company that would produce my type of music magazine which is of the indie genre would be IPC Media as they produce NME magazine, as my magazine is very similar to this. Shown below:
Furthermore, I think that IPC Media would be interested in my magazine as not only does it have the same genre and target audience as NME but has a different perspective as I have tried to broaden my target audience and have added conventions and elements that NME doe not necessarily have for example puffs and the main image of the main article to be on one page of the double page spread. I would like my magazine to be distributed to many newsagents, music shops and supermarkets as I believe that my target audience would purchase from all of these locations.
