Above is the mock up/draft of my school magazine front cover. The main image for my school magazine has now been selected, stated in the previous post, I have also drafted a layout of how I want my magazine to look. I have also carefully chosen what features to include from my target audience feedback from the questionnaire. It is important that I consider my target audience in all aspects of my school magazine as they will be my consumers.
Above is the mock up/draft for my school magazine contents page. I have yet to decide which pictures are right for the different articles and where I want to place them. I know what features are going to appear in my magazine as I asked my target audience through a questionnaire what they would prefer and what would interest them.
Typical Reader
The typical reader of my school magazine is going to be girls between the ages of 12-18 due to years 7 to 13 attending and the fact that my school is an all girls school. Boys between the ages of 16 - 18 as male students only attend the sixth form and finally parents and teachers. These consumers will be interested in my magazine as it will report on all the things that are happening around the school from high achievers to events such as 'Beaverwood's got talent'.
