Making Of The School Magazine

Below is the final developments that I have made to my school magazine front cover. I will explain what I have added to the front cover on PicMonkey.

Above I have made and added the final features to my front cover. As you can see I have included two puffs both in the form of a red circle, red so that it attracts the attention of the audience and makes the front cover look more exciting. In the puffs I have advertised a competition which the reader could enter and a countdown of the top 20 revision tools which could come in handy for them when it comes to their examinations. At the bottom of the page I have put a barcode, which again I had to paste the magazine front cover into Microsoft Word and then save again through a print screen to paint to get it into place. Finally, I have also added the price of the magazine just above the barcode, I have chosen yellow as this is a colour that will the grab the eye of the audience and continuing to use the same colour scheme throughout the page. It is 50p as that was the price that my target audience said they would pay in the feedback from my questionnaire.

Below is the last developments to my school magazine contents page. Like before I will explain the changes I have made.

I have now added text to my contents page of the page numbers and their articles which I have done in yellow to stand out to the audience and the text for the images which gives the reader information about what these specific article are about.
