Making Of The School Magazine

Below is the fourth developments to my school magazine front cover. The changes made were again using 'PicMonkey' a photo editing site.

As you can see above I have made no changes to the previous magazine as I was happy with the sizing, colour and font of all the text. I have added sell line text to the bottom of my school magazine front cover and choosing again to use a white box to highlight the text as I felt the blue on its on would not have been visible yet would like to have used it as if I had used white or yellow text again it would have been too repetitive and the audience would have lost interest. The text is telling the audience about a feature that is up and coming in the next issue, as I chose to mention what teachers maybe starring in the Christmas panto it will make the reader want to buy the next issue when it comes out. Furthermore, I have also done the same at the skyline of the front cover enticing the reader in promising that if they look inside they will get the 'perfect fashion tips', I think this relates to the target audience I am aiming for as it is an all girls school.  My next steps are to create puffs and a barcode with a price.

Below is the third developments to my school magazine contents page. I will explain the changes I have made and why.

I have now added the text for the subheadings which I choose to do in blue as it stands out and links in with the title, I also choose the same font for this reason. I then also included the text for the advertisement, I choose the colour black as I thought this best grabbed the audiences attention against the red.
