Below is the first developments of my school magazine front cover. I previously blogged the picture I was going to use and why, I have started to create my front cover with the first features being shown underneath:
As you can see the final shot that I posted previously is now the background for my school magazine front cover. To do this I have used the site Picmonkey. However when using Picmonkey you cannot paste another picture on top so I had to paste the original shot into Microsoft Word, then paste the school badge/logo also then position it on top of the original shot and print screen. I then pasted the print screen into paint cropped out what was necessary and then saved it as a picture. I could then upload the saved picture into Picmonkey with the logo in place. Furthermore I also played about with different fonts and finally liked the one you can see above which is called 'Losbster Two'. To stick to school colours which my target audience suggested in my feedback from the question I choose a dark blue. My next step in developing my school magazine front cover is to create the anchorage text which accompanys the main image.
